Dear Cat People collects email addresses when you sign up for our waitlist or subscribe.

We also collect optional answers to post-signup questions about product preferences, pricing interest, gift versus self-purchase interest, and cat ownership.

For paid subscribers, we collect payment and billing information through Stripe, your shipping address, and any optional marketing consent you provide at checkout.

In addition, we collect technical and marketing data such as timestamps, landing page variant, UTM parameters, referrer information, page views, and Meta Pixel lead events.

How We Use Your Information

We use this information to manage the waitlist and subscriptions, process payments, fulfill mailings, send launch updates, understand demand, improve the product, and measure advertising performance.

Payment Processing

Payments are processed by Stripe. We do not store full payment card details on our servers. Stripe handles payment information in accordance with its own privacy and security practices. We store your Stripe customer ID, subscription ID, shipping address, and billing dates so we can manage your membership.

Marketing Consent

During checkout, you may choose to opt in to promotional emails about new mailings, cats, and other Dear Cat People updates. This consent is optional, and you can opt out at any time by clicking the unsubscribe link in any marketing email or by contacting us.

Service Providers

We may use service providers such as Lovable, Supabase, Stripe, Meta Pixel, and analytics or email tools to operate the site, process payments, and measure performance.

Data Sharing

We do not sell email addresses or personal information. We only share data with service providers as needed to run the mail club and process payments.

Your Rights

You can manage your subscription, update your address, or cancel at /manage-subscription. You can also request deletion of your information or contact us with any privacy concerns at contact@dearcatpeople.com.
